Title: The Singletrack in the Context of Mountain Biking Objectives: The main goal of the bachelor thesis is systematically to introduce the overview of present knowledge in the cross mountain biking area including the wider contexts. Furthermore through the domestic and foreign literature search to reflect the term singletrack, eventually to create the well-arranged overview of the singletrack regions in Czech Republic and in the world. Last but not least to provide the comprehensive analysis of the biggest area of this type in our territory - Singltrek pod Smrkem. Methods: For the data collection and information acquisition have been used following methods: documentary and comparative observation of the tracked objects (technical parameters), standardized and non-standardized interviews (trail builders, village majors), analysis of information resources (domestic and foreign literature search), marginally comparative methods (CR versus world). The data collection resulted from primary as well as from secondary external and internal resources. Results: The bachelor thesis presented the mountain biking as a full-value and prospected form of cycling, which should be integrated to the model of biking infrastructure subvention in Czech Republic, especially in this nature close alternative to the...

Selected Vertebrate Species of the Jizera Mountains in Inquiry Based Science Education at Primary and Secondary Schools
Kršková, Adéla ; Andreska, Jan (advisor) ; Hanel, Lubomír (referee)
The thesis consists of two main parts: a theoretical one which includes a separate chapter about the Jizera Mountains as a whole, introducing their geological structure, climate, botanical and zoological species and three public figures connected with the Jizera Mountains. The second part is a practical one. The first chapter which is divided into ten sub-chapters, introduces typical vertebrates, especially those which can be included in education at primary schools and grammar schools. The next chapter mentions nature trails which are later suggested as enriching elements in zoological excursions. These must follow the official paths within the nature conservation area. Certain thought in this thesis is also given to the SPA (Special Protection Area) established to protect the black grouse and the boreal owl. The last but one chapter involves selected centres of ecological education and other organisations organising programmes focused on vertebrates. Then there is classification of primary and secondary education with emphasizing a short survey of which biology textbooks are used at primary schools around Jablonec nad Nisou. Education at secondary schools is supplemented with international researches called PISA and TIMSS serving as a base for the last chapter, which is about enquiry based...

Štěpánková, Jitka ; Šulcová, Renata (advisor) ; Klímová, Helena (referee) ; Kolář, Karel (referee)
Title: Development of Competencies in Scientific Education through the Active Work of Pupils (Focused On Field Trips) Abstract The overall concept and strategy of science education is undergoing significant changes, the basic starting curricula are designed to develop key competences necessary for personal development and success of each member of society. Therefore, in addition to traditional, perhaps best methods and forms come into the forefront more participatory and inquiry- based approaches that encourage creative approach to teaching and emphasize their own initiative pupils. Unique role of a comprehensive scientific excursion channeled to various locations in order to accomplish a pre- assigned tasks and sophisticated science and social character. A new look in this direction provide natural areas or nature trails where students can explore, understand and assess phenomena in a broader context with regard to their natural, economic or social importance. This direct and indirect nature study research methods, practical activities, especially experimental enables pupils to create complex scientific skills and competencies. It helps students develop the intellectual gradual transition from a predominantly illustrative exploring the world around to explore the rational, abstract. The issue is also...
The assumptions of commercial services development in a chosen area
MACHOVÁ, Eliška
Microregion of Association Roses is located in the southern part of South Bohemia. The territory of microregion extends to the national borders with Austria. Microregion develops within the framework of the Euroregion Silva Nortica cross-border cooperation. Microregion has a total of 23 municipalities, which are from the district Budweis and a part of the district of Český Krumlov. Bachelor thesis pursues the 11 municipalities of the microregion. Specifically, it is a Borovany, Hranice, Jílovice, Ledenice, Mladošovice, Nové Hrady, Olešnice, Ostrolovský Újezd, Petříkov, Srubec and Žár. Borovany and Nové Hrady are the type of urban village. Srubec is satellite of Ceske Budejovice. Others are purely rural character. Ledenice have the status of the municipality, but in my opinion it can be classified as urban-type community. Microregion, as well as the defined territory is more agro-industrial, although the preponderance of businesses in the services sector. In the territory is strongly rooted tradition of farming and to this corresponds also high number of agricultural organizations, which employ many workers. The disadvantage of the microregion is the unfavorable situation from the national perspective, because in the most remote villages is the insufficient infrastructure and problem is the large distance from the central seats. However, microregion use this disadvantage to the benefit of tourism. In this territory is beautiful countryside with many natural attractions, biking trails and nature trails. Offer of historical, religious and technical monuments attracts tourists too. In order to develop more tourism, it is necessary to improve the quality of accommodation and catering facilities, provide more services of tourism, better equip tourists routes and create a functional management of tourism development. As far as other commercial services, so they are more available in larger municipalities and cities. The same applies in a specific territory. Citizens must commute for the majority of commercial services. In smaller communities there are only a small grocery and pub with the majority of seasonal operation.
The nature trails in Moravian-Silesian region and their application in primary education
DRATVOVÁ, Monika
The nature trails, not even in Moravian-Silesian region, are slightly neglected in the whole educational system. Withal for basic schools the pupils are the natural trails the most useful opportunity of practising the theory, acquired in the Biology or Geography lessons. But not just there. Beyond the others this is the reason, why the municipal natural trails with enlarged possibility of education for basic school pupils are established. What this bachelors work deals with is, if the natural trails are used in pre-school education, and mainly if they are usable. The aim of this work is to find the greatest difficulties of using them. Possibly there will be a problem for the nursery schools with the availability of the natural trails and more complicated work with the children than with the basic school pupils during the teaching.
